Factory Visit and Tour 2018 (FAST 2018) telah terlaksana pada Senin, 5 Februari 2018. FAST atau kunjungan industri diadakan untuk menambah pengalaman dan wawasan tentang dunia kerja. Selain itu, memberikan gambaran kepada mahasiswa tentang industri dan proses produksi khsusnya di bidang manufaktur. FAST mengusung tema “Visit, Learning, and Tour”.
PT. NISSIN dan PT. SIDOMUNCUL
yang berlokasi di Semarang, dijadikan pilihan oleh mahasiswa Teknik Industri (TI) UNPAS sebagai industri yang dikunjungi. Kedua perusahaan tersebut sudah termasuk
kedalam perusahaan berbasis internasional. Produk yang dihasilkan pun dapat ditemukan
baik di dalam maupun luar negeri. Pada kegiatan ini, mahasiswa mengamati secara
langsung proses produksi dari awal sampai akhir di kedua perusahaan tersebut.
Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan mahasiswa TI UNPAS dapat mengetahui lingkungan
dunia kerja dan memberikan informasi bagaimana keadaan dunia kerja selepas
perkuliahan.
